Program: Workshop: Your Life is a Work of Art

Description

Students are led in a collaborative musical and songwriting experience where they learn SEL techniques to improve focus and relieve anxiety, as well as creative visualization and mindfulness meditation. The students learn the elements of songwriting, and how to use a digital audio workstation to create modern music. Students will make artistic decisions, and learn techniques to make good real-world decisions. The end result is an original song, written and performed by the students. It is a fun, educational and inspirational workshop that is great for students interested in music, creative writing, poetry, and any student that needs help with self-regulation, anxiety, or improving focus
