Program: Sensational Sculptures

Description

Students will learn the art of sculpture as they work with paper materials to create three-dimensional forms. This creative process is linked to other content areas e.g. science, math, and engineering.

Students will be exposed to: vocabulary, materials, tools, techniques, and art historical examples of paper sculpture in a developmentally appropriate manner with master artist/educator Triada Samaras. Triada’s approach helps students learn how to connect creative practices with academic success.
