Artist Bio
In the heart of New York City, Irene Koloseus, an accomplished Austrian tap dancer, and Abou Sylla, a world-renown African balafon player, envisioned a blend of music and dance that would unite their love for both traditional West African music and dance and the uniquely American art form of tap dance. Formed in 1996, Feraba’s explosive and unique style continues to excite and inspire audiences throughout the world.
